With the synthetic turf now fully laid down and the white-lining complete, we say ‘thank you and good bye’ to the first team and ‘hello’ to the second team, who will be along next week, weather permitting, for the next stages. This includes adding sand to the pitch, which sinks down through the turf to ensure that the pile stands up and to provide the final layer of padding.
